In 1972, 20-year-old Sid Shubert founded Boston Glass & Boarding Service Inc. With two years of experience in the glass industry, he began by boarding up broken windows for commercial clients. He later moved on to installing the glass itself.

Boston Glass & Boarding Service Inc. opened the doors of its first shop on 399 Geneva Avenue in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Eight years later, the company expanded, providing installations for all types of glass.

Although Sid Shubert passed away in 2012, the company is still family owned and managed. We continue to provide the same quality of service and excellence Boston Glass & Boarding Service Inc. was built on.
